Launch the media gallery 1 playerThrough the efforts of our school Safety Committee here at Winside, all our staff were able to be CPR trained as they started back from Winter Break on Monday, January 3, 2022. Members of the Norfolk Fire Division through Northeast Community College instructed all staff members on this life saving method. Landon G. and Brock S. were on site and did hands on instruction on adult, child, and infant CPR, the Heimlich Maneuver, and defibrillator use. As we hope that we never have to use this with anyone, we wanted all staff members to be familiar and comfortable enough to do what they could if the scenario ever played out in real life whether they were at school or not.
