Bridge Building with HAL
5th through 8th grade HAL students put their knowledge to the test last week during our HAL meeting. They were tasked with the challenge of building a bridge capable of supporting weight. After getting into groups they were given their supplies. They only received large popsicle sticks, small popsicle sticks, and binder clips. We tested the bridges at two different lengths, 10 inches and 12 inches. These students did an amazing job and the winning bridge supported 27 books! Way to go students! Students present for the activity were: Brayden Lurz, Quin Sellin, Brystol Rohde, Kortney Jaeger, Tate Petersen, Charlie Marotz, Brayden Strong, and Jaeger Genereux.
