HAL Field Trips
Last week, our HAL groups ventured out for a few field trips. The 3rd-5th graders went to Wayne State College where they were able to see a show at the Planetarium and tour the Natural History Museum. They learned about space and did a scavenger hunt throughout the museum allowing them to get up close and personal with many of the displays. The 6th-8th graders visited the airport in Wayne. They were given a tour of the facilities, watched an airplane take off, and even flew virtually in the flight simulator. The airport was kind enough to give the students t-shirts and hats before they left! Everyone had a great time leaving school for a bit and experiencing something new!
